I am Praneeth Sunkavalli, an AI researcher focused on building technology that solves real-world problems. At Penn State University, where I’m completing my master’s degree in Data Analytics, I was honoured as the first recipient of the Presidential Strategic Initiative on Public Impact Research Award (PPRIA) for my cybersecurity research project focused on making non-profit organizations cyber security readiness. My work ranges from developing cybersecurity solutions to creating secure AI systems for financial trading. Beyond my technical work, I lead a team at the Nittany AI Advance program, working alongside companies like Microsoft and Accenture to bring innovative solutions to life. My passion lies in making complex technology accessible and useful – whether it’s creating AI tools for sports analysis or developing systems that can understand sign language. Through my research and hands-on projects, I combine academic insights with practical solutions, always aiming to create technology that makes a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
